Asunafo North Member of Parliament (MP), Haruna Mohammed, has expressed disappointment with the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s (OSP) handling of the Martin Kpebu case, saying he feels let down by their approach.
Speaking on Angel Morning Show (AMS) with Ohemaa Sakyiwaa as host, Haruna Mohammed questioned the OSP’s decision-making process, suggesting that when many people criticize someone’s work, it’s worth examining further.
“If a lot of people rise against someone’s work, we have to check it well for there could be something else,” he said, implying that the OSP should revisit its strategy in the case.
The MP’s comments come amid controversy surrounding the OSP’s investigation into Martin Kpebu, a lawyer and activist, and highlight growing concerns about the OSP’s effectiveness in tackling corruption cases.
