The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has charged officers of the Police Administration to continue forging ahead in their collective security responsibility for the country.
He underscored the peace Ghana continues to enjoy and encouraged police officers to uphold and intensify the momentum.
Mr. Yohuno noted that exhibiting such high-level decorum will help in the protection of lives and property in the country.
“I urge you all to keep the morale high, intensifying the momentum and let us forge ahead in our collective resolve to keep the peace, protect lives and ensure security in the country,” he urges.
The IGP reminded police officers nationwide of their core mandate as Ghanaian citizens repose their trust in them.
“Our beloved nation is counting on us, and we will surely deliver,” he added and assured the public that the police will continue to ensure safety and security on our roads and within our communities.
IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno said this on Thursday, December 4, 2025, during the official handing-over ceremony of the Armoured Vehicles to the Police Administration.
