The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Accra will be closed to the public for one day on Saturday, 27 December 2025, to allow internal operational arrangements.
According to the statement signed by the Acting Executive Director Dr. Collins R. Nunyonameh said that internal operations will be carried out to maintain service standards, urging the public to note the closure, with regular operations resuming soon.
“This brief closure is part of our internal operational arrangements, during which the Park will not be accessible to visitors. We kindly encourage the public to take note of this date when planning their visits.
“Regular operations will resume on Sunday, 28th December 2025, and we look forward to welcoming visitors back from that day onward,” the statement entreated.

Management further apologises for any inconvenience and appreciates the public’s understanding as they maintain the Park’s standards and service.
