Former Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Peter Kwakye-Ackah, has stated that President John Dramani Mahama has stabilised the economy and that the focus should now shift to job creation, following a recent wave of romance scam arrests.
He described it as a poor practice, saying it exposes flaws in the system and undermines investor confidence in the economy.
“It stems from how less restrictive the system is and warned that it is a bad practice that could deter investors from the economy,” he emphasized.
Speaking on the Angel Morning Show (AMS) on Monday, December 15, 2025, Mr. Ackah highlighted the “Big Push Agenda” and other government development plans, that is designed to create jobs for the youth will be implemented.
“The construction of schools, roads, hospitals will generate employment, adding that the development of 1200-megawatt power project is expected to create a significant number of jobs, particularly in Ghana electricity and the Big Push Agenda will further create jobs,” he added.
