Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), Officers from the Komenda Fire Station has educated teacher trainees in Komenda on fire safety precautions.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the team led by the District Commander, DOIII Mensah participated in the 29th General Assembly Opening Ceremony of the Teacher Trainee Associaton of Ghana for the Central, Western, and Western North Sectors.
The fire officers used the opportunity to educate the trainee teachers on basic fire fighting and fire safety.
The officers outlined some common causes of fires in homes, schools and workplaces and also inspired them to be cautious and responsible at these places.
“They were also encouraged to be more careful and responsible at home, school, and the workplace,” the statement reads.
Section President, H.E Benedicta Arthur also expressed her gratitude to fire officers for their valuable education and support.
