The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has initiated an investigation into Vyacheslav Trahov, a Russian national, over the circulation of explicit videos and images involving Ghanaian women.
The Authority’s Director of Communication, International Cooperation, and Strategic Partnership, Benjamin Madugu, confirmed that they are tracking Trahov’s whereabouts to determine if he is still in Ghana or has left the country.
“We want to find out if the individual is still in Ghana. If he has left, perhaps he is in another country.
“We will investigate fully to understand the situation and determine what action should be taken,” Madugu said in an interview with blogger Sammy Kay.
The CSA has condemned Trahov’s actions and warned the public against sharing the explicit content, citing potential legal consequences for redistributing such material.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with calls for accountability and stricter enforcement of cybercrime laws.
Trahov, also known as Yaytseslav, allegedly recorded intimate encounters with Ghanaian women without their consent and shared them online, prompting concerns about privacy, consent, and digital exploitation.
