Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has been discharged from the 37 Military Hospital following a road traffic accident.
In a statement released by his Press Secretary, Hashmin Mohammed, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, it was noted that the Minister received appropriate medical care before being released.
Mr. Iddrisu, along with the Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation, Mohammed Adams Sukparu, was involved in an accident on the Bolgatanga–Tumu road during the early hours of Thursday, February 12, 2026.
The statement further indicated that the Minister is in good spirits and has been advised to rest as part of his recovery process.
He expressed heartfelt appreciation to the medical staff and all those who sent well-wishes.
“Hon. Haruna Iddrisu has been discharged and is recovering well. We thank the medical team and the public for their prayers and support,” the statement concluded.
