Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Obenewa Ocloo Akweley, expressed that Accra Hearts of Oak deserves to have emerged victorious in the Super Clash with rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
According to her, the outcome of the match is a true reflection of the performance of the winners.
Hearts of Oak, despite being reduced to ten men, recorded a 1-0 narrow win over the Reds at the Baba Yara Stadium in a week 22 fixture of the league.
Madam Ocloo, who watched the match from the stands, said she was delighted by the resilience shown by the Phobians.
“I was truly impressed by the intensity, discipline, and quality displayed on the pitch. The performance was outstanding, and the result was well deserved.”
She commended the entire playing body for their effort and highlighted the importance of teamwork in achieving success.
