The Chief Executive Officer of Jomoro Mining Group Ltd, St. Louis Petroleum and F3 Aquaculture and Tourism Centre, Nana Kwame Nkansah II, has been inducted into the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame 2026.
The ceremony was held on March 26, 2026 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra. The event brought together leading figures in Ghana’s business community to honour excellence and leadership across key sectors of the economy.
Organised by the Business Executive Group, the 11th edition of the awards recognised individuals whose work continues to shape industry standards and contribute to national development.
Recognition of leadership across sectors
The induction of Nana Kwame Nkansah II highlights his contributions to mining, petroleum and aquaculture. His work reflects a commitment to sustainable development, local participation and economic growth.
Speaking after receiving the honour, he stressed the need for Ghana to maximise value from its natural resources.
“Mining must move beyond extraction to value creation. Africa cannot continue exporting raw resources while importing finished products at a higher cost. Sustainable mining is about responsibility, local content and long term national benefit,” he said.
In the petroleum sector, he called for stronger indigenous participation and capacity building.
“The future of Africa’s energy sector lies in indigenous capacity. We must build strong local institutions that can compete globally while ensuring that our natural resources translate into real economic transformation,” he noted.
Focus on food security and job creation
Through F3 Aquaculture and Tourism Centre, Nana Kwame Nkansah II is leading an ongoing project expected to create over 1,500 direct jobs, contributing significantly to local economic development.
“Aquaculture is not just a business. It is a solution to food security and youth unemployment. With the right investment and innovation, Ghana can become a leading hub for fish production in West Africa,” he said.
The initiative is also positioned to boost tourism and support livelihoods within the Jomoro area and beyond.
Bridging tradition and enterprise
Beyond his corporate role, he serves as a Divisional Chief of Jomoro in the Aowin Municipality. His dual role places him at the intersection of traditional leadership and modern business, with a focus on community development and inclusive growth.
