Prof. Oduro also highlighted the growing role of technology in education, stating that digital transformation and artificial intelligence are reshaping sectors including education, healthcare, agriculture, governance and commerce.
He emphasised that education remains the cornerstone of national development and urged technical universities to embrace innovation to equip students with the skills required for the global economy.
He said the Ministry of Education continues to prioritise Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), focusing on integrating technology into teaching and learning.
However, he acknowledged challenges such as limited infrastructure, poor connectivity and gaps in digital resources, calling for stronger collaboration among stakeholders to address them.
