Kumawood actor, Lil Win, has appealed to the public for support for veteran actor Kwadwo Kwakye Obuobi, whose kidney health condition has reportedly become critical.
In a message shared on social media, Lil Win called on individuals to assist the actor with contributions towards his medical treatment, stressing that every form of support would make a difference.
“We are reaching out on behalf of our brother, whose health condition is currently very critical. We are humbly appealing to the public for support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping with his treatment,” he wrote.
He added: “Thank you for your kindness and support. May God bless you abundantly.”
The post was accompanied by a video showing Lil Win visiting Kwadwo Kwakye Obuobi at the hospital, where he presented a substantial amount of money to support his treatment.
The gesture forms part of efforts by colleagues and members of the creative community to assist the veteran actor during his health challenge.
Meanwhile, veteran actress Mercy Asiedu has also shown her support by visiting Kwadwo Kwakye Obuobi and donating GH¢50,000 towards his medical care.
The actress’ contribution adds to the growing support from industry players who have rallied behind the actor as he undergoes treatment.
Kwadwo Kwakye Obuobi, known for his contributions to Ghana’s film industry, is currently receiving support from colleagues, friends and well-wishers as they pray for his recovery.
