Parliamentary hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ledzokuku Constituency, Nii Ashittey Ollenu has focused his public engagement on youth empowerment, community development and support for persons with disabilities.
Operating primarily within Teshie and surrounding communities in the Greater Accra Region, Mr. Ollennu has implemented a number of community-based interventions aimed at reducing youth unemployment and improving livelihoods.
These include youth leadership training programmes, skills development initiatives and the Ollennu Petty Trading Support Programme, which provides funding and business support to petty traders, particularly women in the informal sector.
He has also undertaken philanthropic activities targeted at persons with disabilities, including the donation of mobility aids such as wheelchairs and crutches to beneficiaries in the constituency.
According to residents and party grassroots, his consistent engagement at the community level has positioned him as a notable figure in local development discussions ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Observers note that his approach emphasizes practical empowerment and direct community impact as a basis for political leadership in Ledzokuku.
