The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has engaged a Turkish delegation to explore investment and collaboration opportunities in cocoa processing and sustainable cocoa sourcing.
According to a statement from COCOBOD, the engagement aligns with the new policy direction to promote greater value addition within Ghana’s cocoa sector.
As part of the engagement, the Turkish delegation visited the Cocoa Processing Company (CPC), TF Commodities Ghana Ltd and Niche Cocoa Industry Ltd to assess existing processing capacities and gain deeper insight into Ghana’s cocoa processing landscape.
Discussions focused on developing a processing and sustainable cocoa sourcing partnership, while exploring opportunities for further investment, technology transfer and collaboration.
