Greece-based Ghanaian defender, Abdul Baba Rahman, has regained consciousness after he collapsed during a Greek Cup game on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
The unfortunate incident occurred in the 115th minute of the semi-final clash between his side PAOK and Panathinaikos.
It was after a Panathinaikos player had collided with the head of the 29-year-old left back. He was given swift medical attention from the medical team to prevent any calamity.
Baba is now in a stable condition, according to a statement the club issued.
Panathinaikos eventually won the clash 6-5 to book a ticket for the finals of the 2024 Greek Cup.
