Bees chase out Deputy Minister, pastors and chiefs at New Juaben [Video]

Government officials, pastors and traditional leaders on Wednesday fled for their lives, after bees swarmed a gathering at New Juaben North constituency of the Eastern Region.

They had gone to witness the inauguration of the rehabilitated Asokore Community Centre when they were suddenly attacked.

In attendance was the Deputy Local Government Minister, Nana Adjei Boateng, who is also the MP for New Juaben North constituency.

Others were the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben North, Comfort Asante, the Clergy, Chiefs, Assembly members among others.

Assemblyman for Gyamfikrom Electoral Area, Jacob Okyere Baidian, who witnessed the incident said the program begun with a prayer but just when the pastor was about to say Amen, then the swam of bees came from nowhere and started attacking everything on sight.

This made everyone to ran for their lives, he said.
