Mr Francis Asenso Boakye will be leading the people of Bantama constituency to Parliament come January 2021.
The Deputy Chief of Staff won with 422 votes as against incumbent Member of Parliament(MP) Daniel Okyem Aboagye.
With barely 24hrs to go to the polls, Okyem Aboagye raised allegations manipulation by constituency executives, claiming he did not have a copy of the electoral album which is currently being used for the election.

Mr Asenso on the other hand remained resolute selling his development agenda to constituents and delegates.
The Deputy Chief of Staff said he was focused on areas such as education, health, water and sanitation, sports and unemployment as a development planning, project management, and policy specialist.
He said; ”I’ve the development interest of my people at heart. I’m highly aware of the issues in the Bantama constituency and that remains my utmost priority” .
Asenso Boakye however beat incumbent Okyem Aboagye with over 400 votes.
