Nigerian singer, songwriter and a record producer, David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has become $300,000 richer after asking fans to send him money clear his Rolls Royce at the port.

The ‘skelewu’ hitmaker posted on his Twitter and Instagram accounts that anyone who has been blessed by his music should send money into his bank account.
“if u know I’ve given you hit song.. send me money…. Una know una selves oo”; he posted
This made several Nigerian celebrities overwhelmed his bank account with millions of dollars”, he tweeted.

He mentioned some Ghanaian musicians like Shatta Wale, Medikal, Stonebwoy and Darko vibes to hit his account with 1 million naira as their contribution after putting out his bank account details to which the payments should be made.
In response to Davido’s request, Medikal registered his name as as the first Ghanaian musician to dash Davido $1000.
Davido has revealed that he has made over N200m ($485,000) and still counting despite his target of N100 million set for the supposed clearance of his Rolls Royce.
The songwriter has been thanking everyone who sent him money and updating his twitter page with the screenshots of the transaction.
Some fans responded to his plea with the following comments:
