Ghanaian afrobeats singer, Kidi, has described Black Sheriff as a very special artiste who deserves support to peak his career.
According to the ‘Touch it’ hitmaker, he can feel the lyrics of Black Sheriff whenever he listens to the budding artiste.
“This boy is special. Whenever I listen to Black Sheriff I feel the lyrics from him. He’s very special.”
Kidi made the following comments while sitting in as a guest presenter on Angel FM’s Mid-morning Show dubbed ‘Y’adwuma Nie’ hosted by DJ Ohemaa Woyeje.
The 2022 3Music Artiste of the Year also added that Ghanaians must hold on to the ‘Kweku the Traveler’ hitmaker.
Kidi further admonished industry players to encourage and support Black Sheriff so that he flourishes in the music industry.
“Let’s not make petty petty things distract us from the goal. The end goal is great. Unnecessary drama is not needed. The industry must unite [because] we are our own people”, he pleaded.
The ‘Mon bebe’ singer also proposed that Captain Planet’s latest song “Abodie” should be nominated as gospel song of the year.
He explained that he has been hearing the popular song, which features Kwame Eugene, being sung in most churches.
“This song shall be nominated for gospel song of the year because I have been hearing it in churches. It is a gospel ooh…”
Several listeners of Y’adwuma nie’, who called into the show praised Kidi for his hosting prowess with majority of them scoring him nine and above out of ten.
