Reports reaching angelonline.com.gh indicates that a woman has been shot at Kwame Nkrumah Circle near Caprice in a broad daylight robbery.
According to Angel News sources, the woman had just withdrawn some money from the bank and had just exited.
Narrating what transpired, an eyewitness called Haruna said that the woman was emerging from the UTV side when they heard gunshots.
“Two guys fired gunshots and rammed into the woman’s car with a motor. They fired warning shots again after taking the money…the woman was shot and has been rushed to the hospital…”
In a video cited by angelonline.com.gh, the front car tyre of the victim’s Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number GN-8188-22, was deflated while the back and front windows were broken by gun shots. Some bullet shells were also spotted by the car.
According to the eyewitness, there were policemen stationed not far from the robbery scene but they failed to respond when they called them for assistance.
