Seven students of Mozano Senior High School in the Gomoa Central District, Central Region, are receiving medical care after a floating passenger vehicle run into them on Sunday.
They were part of the Gomoa Ahyiem natives walking in procession in celebration of their Akwambo Festival.
According to sources, the floating car, a Hyundai with registration number GW-992-09 failed at its breaks and ran into them while walking in the procession.
Two of the seven students who sustained various degrees of injuries are on life support at the Agona Swedru government hospital.
Meanwhile, contact with the school authorities proved that the students were at the said event without the knowledge of the authorities.
The driver of the vehicle has however been arrested by the Agona Abodom District Police Command for further investigation.
