The family of Dr. John Kumah, has set March 28, 2024 as the date for the ‘one week’ observation of his passing.
The solemn ceremony commemorating the passing of the Ejisu Parliamentarian who was also the Deputy Finance Minister until his death, will take place at Onwe, near Ejisu, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Dr. John Kumah, aged 45, died on March 7, 2024, at the Suhum Government Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, and six children.

Dr. Kumah, former CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), was instrumental in positioning NEIP as a key player in Ghana’s entrepreneurship landscape.
Under his leadership, NEIP trained 7,000 startups in 2018 and provided financial support to 1,350 beneficiaries.
Prior to his government role, Dr. Kumah excelled as a founding member of Aduaprokye Chambers and established Majak Associates Ltd., leaving an indelible mark on Ghana’s business community.
