In a bid to bring significant development and positive change to Sefwi Wiawso Constituency, Member of Parliament (MP) hopeful Festus Bumakama Agyapong has embarked on ambitious step to improved communication services for the people.
Representing the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), the affable Festus Bumakama has expressed his determination to make this vision feasible even before December 7 2024 for the upcoming general elections.
In a release available to Angelonline, the MP hopeful noted that plans were far advanced with the Communication and Digitilization Ministry to establish a telephone network for four communities in the area.
The beneficial communities include Abrompe, Kwaanane, Atokrom, and Kwasiaddaekrom where residents will now have access to improved communication services.
According to him, the project when completed will bring to an end the suffering where inhabitants of these communities have to labour to access telecommunication networks.
“The NPP parliamentary candidate for the Sefwi Wiawso constituency has successfully lobbied for the establishment of a mobile network in several communities through the Ministry of Communication and Digitization.
Hon. Buma’s efforts are focused on expanding this mobile network to reach more rural communities within the constituency to ensure all residents have access to connectivity.”
Part of the released stressed that through the advocacy, Mr. Bumakama priorities the enhancement of communication and information access for all constituents in Sefwi Wiawso constituency and its environs.
Among these developmental projects, demonstrate the commitment and dedication of the son of the Paramount Chief of Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Area, Katakyie Kwasi Bumakama II, to the welfare and progress of the people.
