The Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis-Xavier Sosu, in partnership with Public Private Partnership (PPP) Maniya Hospital PVT LTD from India, has successfully organized a two-day free medical consultation programme for residents of Madina.

The initiative brought in specialists from PP Maniya Hospital, who provided expert consultations, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations. Patients received professional guidance on managing their health conditions, alongside free ultrasound and laboratory tests.

The programme focused on key medical fields, offering consultations for:

  • Oncology – Carcinomas, all cancers, leukemias, and lymphomas
  • Neurology – Stroke-related cerebrovascular diseases
  • Orthopedics – Bone and joint disorders
  • Cardiology – Heart diseases and heart failure
  • Urology – Kidney stones, UTIs, and prostate cancer

Additionally, the Madina Polyclinic (Kekele) played a crucial role by providing expert consultations and diagnostic services for individuals with critical health conditions.

According to Angel News reporter Augustine Ahiabor, hundreds of residents benefited from the programme, many of whom previously lacked access to specialized healthcare. Grateful beneficiaries expressed their appreciation, highlighting the relief and hope the initiative brought to them.

MP Francis-Xavier Sosu reaffirmed his commitment to making quality healthcare accessible, emphasizing that good health is key to community development.

“Healthcare should not be a privilege for a few but a right for all. This collaboration with PP Maniya Hospital is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the people of Madina receive the best medical attention possible” Sosu said.
