The government has declared Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2025, as statutory public holidays in Ghana.

The holidays are intended to allow the public to observe Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively, marking this year’s Easter festivities.

This was announced in a statement released by the Ministry of the Interior and signed by the sector minister, Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak.

The ministry urged Ghanaians to observe the period accordingly throughout the country.

The announcement is in line with the annual statutory holiday calendar, which includes 13 public holidays and two commemorative days for 2025.
