Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has officially announced the resumption of th preseason training as the club aims to intensify preparations ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana football season.
This development was confirmed in a club statement released Tuesday, June 17, which also unveiled measures aimed at reinforcing the squad.
“The playing body will resume training on Friday 20th June,” Hearts of Oak announced.
The statement also disclosed the formation of a Recruitment Committee tasked with strengthening the team in line with the club’s long-term vision.

According the Accra-based club, this Committee, made up of Board, Management, and Technical Team members, has begun evaluating player performances and identifying suitable targets.
It continued that “Emphasis is placed on acquiring players with proven premiership experience who aligns with the tactical vision of the club.”
The recruitment process, parts of the statement explained is being informed by data analytics to ensure accurate targeting of key technical positions.
Meanwhile, current players are also being assessed, with potential changes expected based on performance and strategic fit. “Some of the current players who do not make the cut will be let go,” it added.
