The court has once again remanded into police custody the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC.
An Accra Circuit Court currently handling the accused involved in “offensive conduct conducive to the breach of public peace” remanded him for one week.
In court on Friday, September 12, 2025, the court indicated that the remand is to allow prosecutors ample time to conduct thorough investigations into the case.
Abronye DC is scheduled to reappear in court on September 19, 2025, as investigations are underway.
The politician was arrested on Monday, September 8, by the Ghana Police Service, who confirmed that his arrest stemmed from “offensive conduct conducive to the breach of public peace.”
