The Divisional Chief of Djebeam in the Manya Krobo Traditional Area, Nene Agbo Narh IV, has expressed his readiness to embrace new ideas and collaborate on the development of the Djebeam Division.
He made the remarks during the grand durbar of the 2025 Ngmayem Festival Mini Durbar at Agbom.
In his address, Nene Narh IV, emphasised that the development of the area is his top priority, welcoming contributions from both the youth and elders.
He urged the community to rally behind him to share ideas that will foster development and create job opportunities in the area.
He also called on the youth to exercise discipline and avoid hard drugs, announcing plans to engage the District Police Commander at Krobo Odumase to combat such practices.
“I will engage the Odumase Police Commander to fish out and deal with those into hard drugs in the area,” Nene Narh IV stated.
The Chief used the platform and introduced a programme titled “Back to School,” which aims to enhance educational opportunities and cultivate future academicians for the benefit of the community.
He described this initiative as a significant legacy of his reign as Divisional Chief.
