The Asante Effiduase community has begun a two-day celebration marking a significant milestone, the graduation of the Chief Priests.
The event, which started Monday, November 10, will end on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
This ceremony represents an important achievement in both the spiritual and educational journeys of the community’s leaders.
Dignitaries, family members, and residents will come together to honor the Chief Priests’ dedication and commitment to personal and community development.
The event highlights the fusion of tradition and modern education within Asante Effiduase.
Emmanuel Bonsu, the right-hand man to the Chief Priest, explained that individuals must be certified as Chief Priests after successfully completing their training.
Speaking on Oman FM, he emphasized that these leaders are prepared to serve the community.
“They graduate after serving as a Chief Priest for three years under training and to serve as a servant to the gods, and whoever the gods will select must automatically receive a certificate to serve them,” he revealed.
Mr. Bonsu further elaborated that the only way to be licensed is through a deep commitment to serving the gods.
“The only way to get licensed is to be ready to be emperor forever and committed with the water (gods) to serve,” he mentioned.
This celebration not only honors the Chief Priests but also reinforces the community’s values and traditions, ensuring a bright future for Asante Effiduase.
