In his inaugural speech at the Jubilee House on Friday, November 14, 2025, President Mahama emphasised that the board must focus on key areas essential to upholding high standards for pilgrims.
“I want the board to work on these critical areas, including upholding precision and integrity in their work, ensuring early and predictable planning, promoting transparency and accountability, providing adequate meals and efficient medical support for pilgrims, maintaining honesty, discipline and fairness among members, and fostering effective communication,” His Excellency urged.
He stressed that the board has a responsibility to maintain the integrity and reputation of the Hajj, ensuring that public trust is strengthened through diligent action.
