Actress and television personality, Nana Ama McBrown, has emotionally opened up about the years of physical pain and medical challenges she has endured following her accident 13 years ago.
She shared the testimony during The Worshippers Heart concert held at CCC Tech on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Addressing the congregation, McBrown revealed that her hand had undergone 15 surgical procedures since the incident, an experience she described as deeply painful and exhausting.
“I have suffered. For 13 good years since my accident, this hand has undergone surgical repair 15 times,” she said.
She explained that her quest for healing has taken her beyond Ghana’s borders, noting that she has received medical care both locally and abroad.
“I’ve been to Germany, Ghanaian doctors have also tried their best,” the actress emphasized.
The actress also revealed for the first time that she experienced yet another accident last year, just before a major show, which left her hand broken yet again, even though it had already been fractured multiple times in the past.
“Last year before a show, I had an accident and nobody knew about it. I broke the hand again, meanwhile this hand has been broken like four times already,” she revealed.
McBrown recalled a moment when doctors questioned how far she could continue to endure the recurring injuries.
“The doctors were like, ‘Nana Ama, do you want to lose?’ and I said no,” she answered.
She explained that the nature of her work often places her in demanding situations, but through it all, she believes divine grace has sustained her.
“Sometimes not because we just want to move situations move us. My work takes me everywhere. And it’s by God’s grace I’m still here,” she concluded.
