Presidential Aide, Dr. Samuel Ayeh, has assured that President John Dramani Mahama will complete the Accra-Kumasi Expressway project before the end of his term in office.
In an interview on the Angel Morning Show (AMS), he stated that the project would be completed and commissioned within three years as part of the Big Push Policy.
“President Mahama will complete the expressway and commission it before he leaves, certainly within three years,” he emphasized on Angel TV, on Monday, December 1, 2025.
He noted that several arrangements have been made for the construction of the Expressway project, which will facilitate its timely completion.
“He has done his calculations, and he knows he will be able to complete it. This isn’t a project that will be given to one contractor to handle,” Mr. Ayeh added.
According to Mr. Ayeh, many people criticized President Mahama’s previous administration, claiming he would not be able to fulfill his promises.
“Between 2013 and 2016, when President Mahama started various projects, people said he could not complete them, but he did, even the Circle Dubai Interchange was completed,” he said.
