Former Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Peter Kwakye-Ackah, has urged the clergy to tone down prosperity messages and focus more on preaching the gospel that promotes good living.
Speaking on Angel Morning Show (AMS) on Monday, December 15, 2025, he added that pastors should focus on promoting good values and biblical teachings rather than using church platforms for political messages, noting that times have changed.
“The pastors in churches should focus more on moral guidance in churches rather than preaching about prosperity,” he mentioned.
He further advised clergy to promote good religious practices and avoid showing favoritism toward those who can offer money.
“We urge the churches that when these politicians come to churches and they take monies from them they mostly give them seat infront we should not allow that,” he noted.
