The new British High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Christian Rogg, has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting, held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Office of the ministry of interior was to explore priority areas of collaboration, with a focus on strengthening law enforcement training, counter-terrorism, and border security management.
According to a report filed by the sector, the two nations also discussed other important areas of concern and potential support.
Mr. Muntaka highlighted the long-standing relationship between Ghana and the United Kingdom expressing his happiness about the Commission’s partnership in northern Ghana, particularly in the area of peace and other projects.
He called for continued collaboration and support in key areas, including the Narcotics Control Commission, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana Immigration Service, and National Peace Council.
