Sitting Member of Parliament for Suhum Constituency, Fred Opare Ansah has lost the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries.
The MP only managed 272 votes out of a total of 666 votes cast while Kwadwo Asante won with 394 votes.
Frederick Opare Ansah has been the MP for more than two times.
