We are by this route march warning criminals that they won’t have the opportunity to go on with their nefarious activities this festive season, Chief Supt. Cephas Arthur cautioned.
Meanwhile, the Assin Fosu Divisional Police Commander, ACP Augustine Luguyare said the public and the police are friends and not enemies and must assist the police with information to ensure effective policing.
We are your friends and it is important that you divulge information when you see crimes being perpetuated, he pleaded with the public.
Lastly, the Assin Fosu Municipal Fire Commander, DOIII Paul Tawiah urged Ghanaians to observe fire safety protocols as the harmattan emerges.
He also admonished cigarette smokers to observe fire safety protocols and counselled hunters to be meticulous when burning.
Given the high temperatures coupled with general dryness, it is easy for fires to spread thus let’s be careful. We should endeavour to put off all sockets and plugs before going to bed to avoid fires, he stated.
