Social media users have praised a taxi driver who returned an amount of GHc8,000 to a fishmonger after she forgot the money in his car.
According to a Twitter user, Sir Alby, the fishmonger who patronised the services of the taxi driver left the said amount in the car on Friday.
Upon seeing the money the following day, the unnamed taxi driver traced the woman to her home where he had dropped her off the previous day to return the money.
“Taxi Driver Returned GH8,000 to Passenger – The Man the woman is hugging is a Taxi driver, and the women is a fish seller at Mallam Atta Market in Accra.”
“Apparently the woman board the Taxi on a Friday evening and forgetfully left an amount of Gh8,000 in the taxi. The Taxi Driver found the money the next day in his car and returned it to the women at her home where he dropped her off. And that’s the video.”

In the video posted on Twitter by Sir Alby, the fishmonger together with other people, were seen blessing the driver and thanking him in tears of joy.
When news of the taxi driver’s ‘herioc and selfless act’ broke on social media, several users praised him.
According to some netizens, his ‘godly’ act indicates that there are still good people in Ghana and the world.
Others were even more impressed given the fact that the economic conditions are unfavourable and money is difficult to come by these days.

Some social media users also proposed that the taxi driver be rewarded for his good deed to encourage more people to emulate his good behaviour.
