The representative of Black Stars player, Jeffrey Schlupp, has hit out at the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over claims that his client had been omitted from the team’s final squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
According to Calvin Riches, the hierarchy of the football association headed by Kurt Okraku is a bunch of corrupt and criminal individuals.
His comments come on the back of news that circulated on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, that Jeffrey Schlupp, who was included in the Black Stars provisional 55-man squad submitted to FIFA, could not make the final list of 26.
Although, the report is unofficial as coach Otto Addo is expected to announce his final squad on Friday, November 21, many are of the belief that the rumour is not far from true because, the player had been absent from the team over a long period of time.
Reacting to the development, Clavin Riches on his official Instagram page took a swipe at the GFA, accussing the admninstration of engaging in corrupt practices.
“Fuck the GFA. Ghanaians are disgraceful. Don’t ever call my phone ever again, a bunch of people imbecile from the president all the way to the coach. Fuck you. A bunch of criminals @ghana fa official… corruption,” he posted.
The agent of the Crystal Palace defender further warned the officials of the Ghana FA not to ever call his phone again.
He also prayed that Ghana is kicked out of the tournament without progressing from its group that consist of Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
