2024 elections: NPP aims at winning 85% votes in Ashanti Region – NAPO

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, has stated that the party hopes to secure 85% of the votes in the Ashanti Region during this year’s elections.

He claims that before to the general election, the NPP will conduct a door-to-door campaign.

After his introduction on Tuesday, July 9, he spoke to NPP supporters in Kumasi and declared, “We want 85 percent in the Ashanti region.”

To “honour President Akufo-Addo and Bawumia by voting massively to win the 2024 elections; we will do house-to-house campaign,” he added urged party members and Ghanaians in general.

Flagbearer of the NPP Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, on the other hand, is an informed, problem-solving, and generation-thinking individual.

He declares that Dr. Opoku Prempeh has my utmost regard.

On Tuesday, July 9, Dr. Bawumia addressed NPP supporters during the Manhyia South Lawmaker’s unveiling as his running mate in Kumasi. He remarked, “Napo is knowledgeable; I have high respect for him; he is a problem solver; he is a generational thinker.”

With a team of generational thinkers on our ticket, we can collaborate and offer the people of Ghana audacious answers.

The president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, voiced confidence in the Bawumia-Opoku Prempeh ticket’s capacity to perform to Ghanaians’ expectations.

At a previous occasion held at the Manhyia Palace on Tuesday, July 9, Mr. Akufo-Addo revealed the NPP flagbearer and running partner. He stated that having worked with both guys, he could attest to their diligence.

“I am confident that the two of them can complete the task. Having collaborated with both of them, I am confident in their abilities. President Akufo-Addo stated, “I am confident that on December 7, after Ghanaians have given them the mandate, they will work to meet the expectations of Ghana.”
