The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asutifi South in the Ahafo Region, Benjamin Asabil Donkor, has embarked on a familiarization tour of key security institutions within the district.
These security institutions include the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), and the Ghana Ambulance Service.

According to the DCE, his visit was to engage with personnel, understand their operational needs, and assess the challenges they face in their quest to delivering effective services to the people of Asutifi South.
Speaking during the tour, Mr. Donkor emphasized his commitment to empowering these institutions to operate efficiently.
He noted that the safety and well-being of residents largely depend on the effectiveness of these agencies, hence the need to support them adequately.
According to the DCE, his interactions with the institutions revealed several pressing challenges, hence, his pledged to addressing them.
“I assured them that my administration will work tirelessly to find solutions to the problems to enhance their ability to serve the district better,” he said during the visitations on Friday, August 8, 2025.
Mr. Donkor emphasis his tour and stated that it forms part of his broader agenda to strengthen public institutions and foster development in Assutifi South.
