The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced that the general public should disregard appointment offers purportedly issued and signed by the Chief Executive for employment purposes.
It cautioned that these offer letters are fraudulent creations by criminally-minded individuals aiming to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.
“We wish to admonish any person who is given any such offer to report to the Police for immediate action, any individual who purports to facilitate such offers,” it cautioned.
The statement assured the public that they will be informed through formal means if the Authority decides to undertake any recruitment exercise.
