Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has praised the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GoldBod for his impressive performance since taking office, despite facing initial criticism.
In a viral video circulating on X, Abronye described the rebranding of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) into GoldBod as a bold and strategic move that has significantly boosted investor confidence.
“We all know Precious Minerals was not doing well… This is good marketing, because when it was Precious Minerals, we didn’t have lots of investors like we do now,” Abronye stated.
He emphasised that, under the leadership of Sammy Gyamfi, GoldBod has not only attracted new investors but has also raised the standards of the institution.
According to Abronye, Mr. Gyamfi’s resilience in the face of public criticism has been commendable.
“People said things when he was appointed, but within a short period, he has rebranded Precious Minerals…
If we want someone who has really worked and raised the standards of the office despite being insulted, it is Sammy Gyamfi. The truth must be told, he has done tremendously well,” Abronye added.
