The chiefs and people of Fodzoku Traditional Area in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, held a colourful mini-durbar at the forecourt of the Traditional Council in honour of sensational singer, Morgan Nero.
The Afrobeats cum Hi-life singer and songwriter known privately as Stephen Morgan Fiakpornu, will headline the ‘Music Jam’ on Wednesday, December 24, as part of the 2025 Gligba festival celebrated each year by the people of Fodzoku.

Unveiling Morgan Nero, a native from the Volta Region alongside other artistes expected to thrill fans on Christmas eve, Manklalo of Fodzoku, Togbe Kwasi Misrobi III, commended him and his team for his spectacular talent and stagecraft, which he said have won him a lot of following across the country.
Togbe Misrobi III further encouraged the musician to continue to stay on track and adapting as needed, emphasising that many of the youth who follow him, do so because they see him a worthy role model.
Taking his turn to address the gathering, the ‘Backside’ and ‘Agbozume Naomi’ hitmaker expressed gratitude to the Chiefs and organisers of the Glgbaza 2025, for the decision to recognise and select him to headline the festival’s prestigious music concert.

He promised to give patrons the best to make the celebration of the festival a memorable one. Other artistes expected to share the stage with Morgan Nero include Rockid, Zaga Boi, Andy Sydaking, Don Ziglah, Skinbwoy, Kwame Survival, Lorney Seedy and Kwame Madi.
The 2025 Gligbaza, scheduled to take place from December 21, to 27, in the Fodzoku with the highlight of the celebration being the grand durbar of the Chiefs and people on December 27.
