“Yo @Shattawalegh why you dey do that, I dey come release noor u dey drop second EP. The first one too I no soak finish… where my hot wav u promise dey?” he wrote.
His comment came shortly after Shatta Wale announced, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, that he would be releasing a new EP titled The Interface, produced by Shatta Wale, Nawtyboi and Paq. The project, however, is yet to be released.
The tweet triggered mixed reactions from fans. While some encouraged Edem to go ahead with his own release, others criticised his post and urged him to focus on promoting his work.
One fan replied:
“I don’t know why I’m disappointed in this post. Why should anyone’s plan be your fear? You released and we didn’t push? Again, you went silent and stopped promoting your album. Now everyone has forgotten you have an album to release. I understand you don’t rate some of us wey dey love you.
Whiles another commented:
“Collaborate bro let’s hear you 2 flow on one riddim.”
