Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has urged the Ghana Football Association to reinstate Dede Ayew into the Black Stars following consecutive international friendly defeats to Austria and Germany.
The Black Stars suffered a 2-1 loss to Germany after an earlier defeat to Austria, raising concerns among fans about the team’s readiness ahead of upcoming World Cup competition.
Reacting to the match outcome in a live social media session, Shatta Wale expressed disappointment in the team’s performance and urged management to consider recalling former captain Dede Ayew to strengthen the squad.
“Anyways we have hope, but they have to bring Dede Ayew back to the team,” he said.
The outspoken musician also mocked the team’s display during the session, mimicking their performance in a manner that has since sparked mixed reactions online.
While some fans agreed with his call for experience in the squad, others criticized his approach, describing it as unnecessary.
