The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has announced that two major categories of allowances scheduled for payment for November 2025 could not be processed due to technical hitch.
In a statement dated and signed by the Head of Public Relations, Cephas N. Dosco, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the Department explained that a glitch at a critical stage of payroll processing affected the allowances
However in avoidance of further disruption of November 2025 salaries for all government workers will experienced a hold in the salaries.
“CAGD wishes to inform all stakeholders, particularly our colleagues in the education sector, that two categories of allowances scheduled for payment in November 2025 could not be processed due to a technical hitch encountered during the final payroll run,” the statement noted.
The department assures all affected workers that the issue is being resolved and that the outstanding allowances will be included in the December 2025 salaries, which will be paid on December 18th.
CAGD expresses regret for the inconvenience caused and appreciates the patience of all stakeholders.
