Pastor of the missing pregnant woman, Rev. Richard Kingsford Ampofo, has disclosed that kidnappers of the victim, Madam Josephine Panyin Mensah, revealed to him where to find her on the day of her release.
The leader of Heaven Family International Ministry, revealed that he received a call at 8:31am on Tuesday September 21, 2021 from one of the kidnappers, purporting to be an angel, instructing him to pick up the victim from the Axim lorry station.
“When I picked the call and said hello, the person on the other end responded that ‘I am an angel sent by God and he mentioned my name and designation as a pastor’. The voice told me that God has instructed him [the voice] to inform me that he [God] has answered my prayers because the victim and I have faithfully served him. The voice then told me to go to the Axim Station, where they left her, and pick her up”.
“When I demanded to speak to her, the voice told me that as a pastor I know it is impossible to question an angel. He however told me that the victim was in a coma but has recovered from it”, Rev. Ampofo said on the Anopa Bofo morning show on Wednesday morning.
The pastor explained that, the kidnappers had earlier called mother of the victim with an unknown number, which he saved as “Josephine’s kidnappers” on his phone.
Narrating the incident to Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, the Reverend said that the kidnappers informed Josephine’s mother that they can’t use the victim for their intended purpose anymore.
Madam Josephine Panyin Mensah, a 9-month pregnant woman, went missing on Thursday, September 16, 2021 when she failed to return home from her usual health walk exercise at dawn.
Several checks by her husband and relatives from some hospitals proved futile leading to the circulation of her pictures on social media with an appeal to find her.
She was later found by a carpenter around a Jehovah Witness Church near Axim.
Police are however yet to provide details on the circumstances concerning her discovery.
She is currently receiving medical care at the Axim Government Hospital.
