Ghana Premier League club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, has announced a partnership deal with Zeepay Ghana Limited.
The Porcupines secured the deal with the Ghanaian-owned fintech and mobile money transaction company worth Gh¢1 million for a year, with option for renewal.
Announcing the deal, Asante Kotoko’s legal team head said in their statement “this mutually beneficial partnership deal makes Zeepay the official mobile financial service and payment partner for Asante Kotoko.”
The statement issued by Akua Pokuaa Kawrteng added, “Zeepay is the fastest growing mobile financial services and payment partner focusing on digital rails to connect the digital assets such as mobile money wallet to international money transfer operators in an effort to improve last mile access within the continent of Africa.”
The assured to provide much details of the contractual agreement to its followers and therefore entreated them to patronize the mobile money and remittance services offered by Zeepay.
Zeepay becomes the latest brand to associate with Asante Kotoko after Hisense, Adonko Next Level Energy Drink, StarLife Assurance, CEEK, GOIL, Betika, National Lottery Authority, CedarVite and Ticketlake.
The club also has partnership deals with VEO, Instat football and Italian firm Errea as its kit suppliers.
