Sudanese giant, Al Hilal, handed Kumasi Asante Kotoko a heavy defeat in their second preseason friendly encounter in Sudan.
The porcupine warriors having lost 2-0 in the first game on Tuesday, suffered another humiliation losing by 5-0 on Friday, August 26, 2022.
Al Hilal who was a bit dormant in the early stage of the game came back strongly to take over possession and take the lead in the 23rd minute.
The home side doubled their lead 21 minutes later to end the first department of the game 2-0 in their favour.
Back from recess, the game was halted following a blackout at the stadium.
However, after the resumption of the game, Al Hilal put up an outstanding performance and registered the third goal in the 55th minute.
Al Hilal who were merciless on the day further deepened the woes of the Ghanaian champions with fourth and fifth goals in the 62nd and 88th minutes respectively.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko threw all their arsenals forward for a consolation but it was too late as the game ended 5-0.
This means they have conceded 7 goals in the two straight games played with Al Hilal.
The reigning Ghanaian champions will take on Simba SC from Tanzania and one other opponent to wrap up their preseason preparations for the new football season.
