A former Finance Minister, Dr Kwabena Duffour, has picked nomination forms to run for the National Democratic Congress’ flagbearership race.
The nomination form was picked from the party’s headquarters on Thursday, February 22, 2023, by the Ashanti Regional Women’s Organizer, Gloria Huze.
Dr Duffour joins a list of aspirants who have picked their forms in a quest to lead the party to victory come 2024 when the nation goes to polls.
Speaking at the conference of the party stalwarts and sympathisers to pick the nomination form, Madam Gloria Huze, who led the delegation to the party headquarters said the party needs a courageous leader in the person of Dr Duffour to turn lives around.
“Women who are the sufferers at the grassroots level it is why we gathere courage to pick the nomination forms for the presidential hopeful,” she said.
Dr Duffour adds up to three others including former President John Mahama, businessman Ernest Kwaku Kobeah and former Mayor of Kumasi Kojo Bonsu who have picked up their forms.
