An aspiring Assembly man for Anweabeng Electoral Area in the Abuakwa North Constituency of Eastern Region, Matthew Narh, has expressed his conviction of winning the coming election.
He stated vehemently that his message has been well preached to members of the electoral area, particularly, the eligible voters, thus his conviction that they will give him the nod.
Speaking to Opare Christabel on his chances of annexing the seat from the incumbent, Mr. Narh stated that he has hit the ground running because he best fits the position.
“Looking at the steps I have embark on so far in the electoral area with some good initiatives as a prospect I believe the people have accepted and would accept me … and I’m sure of winning the contest,” he told Angelonline.com.gh
Matthew Narh, touching on social amenities, said he would work tirelessly when elected to ensure the long-lasting challenges confronting the electoral area including poor roads and lack of telecommunication network among others are addressed.
He continued, “I will ensure that the hospital in the community functions well, I will also front run the smooth running of the Anweabeng Basic School.”
The assembly member hopeful promised to provide mower for the school to reduce the burden on school children using manpower to weed their school compound.
The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) worker reiterated the championing of a cause for unity and togetherness amid strengthening ties among all persons in Anweabeng Electoral Area and its surrounding communities.
Matthew Narh is contesting the incumbent Assemblyman of the area, Ossew Akrofi Senior who seeks reelection in the District Assembly elections slated for December 19, 2023.
He picked the number one position on the balloting paper while the incumbent Assemblyman picked the number two.
